Sessions With Second Nature

I was told last night from my buddy Jas--big up--from a text he sent me that they were going to go record some songs. At first I didn't really know what he was talking about or what they were exactly going to do or why and what they were recording and recording for, but I wasn't bugged out about it much...until I was there awhile ago--I have proof...like videos and snapshots of the sessions and foolery on what was going down. It was all fun and not boring at all. Quite honestly, I can just shut myself from the world around me and just record and play music all day long if I wanted to. Of course, it was also another one of those learning experiences, too, which I also enjoy. Oh, and before I forget...shouts to Pauline, see you back here in the States from the two week stay in Hawaii...And Jas, I forgot to tell you that you received a text from her while I was recording on your phone. Sorry, pal...I bet you've already checked, though. Hope you did. Anyhooo...back to the sessioning/random foolery...I arrived there just vibin' out with the other crew of Second Nature--that's J.R., Sean, and Jas--big up to ya'll, too...I was just vibin' out and observing what's happening and I finally found out it was a recording session of our songs that we've performed at church--technically, it's just 2 songs we did...for now. Honestly, I didn't do much--adding input, helping produce and arrange, and took some snapshots and video of the sessions in the "lab"--Yes, "LAB" bka...The Church. Better than nothing, right?...Oh, and did I mention HAND CLAPS!? (Lol)--more on that later...(Funny stuff...)

Gyeah. I'm writing this because I have those videos and photos of this day and like to mention that I guess we're taking it a step further and actually have a recording process and creating songs to form our group--Second Nature; If you haven't known already or just forgot--I mean, it isn't THAT professional, but it's something. You gotta work with what you have, right? I'm really diggin' and feelin' this...This could actually be fun and I'd just love to work on this as just a WHOLE in everything and anything for our group...and not to mention to share what we have to others. Word? You know how it goes...and then some. Speaking of sharing, I've mentioned the 2 tracks...plus one that we're working on that are in the process of mastering...And that 'plus one' track...it's still in birthing...Those tracks that were recorded...honestly, they did the best and we're not perfect, so it's a start...

I'd go on, but I don't really want to spoil it here for everyone...so I guess you've got to wait. Tracks will be coming soon as soon as I get my hands on them...
